Run! Run! Jesus is just a mouse-click away from you.
Sorry, I know I'm supposed to be writing a Vietnam post, but I just HAD to put this up.
You know me.

the water fountain behind her.

Emotional Unavailability
Sorry I haven't posted anything for so long. I have been trying to muster up the energy to write the Vietnam posts, but it's hard to recall everything in writing :(
Plus, I am waiting for an e-mail giving me the itinerary for the 10 days we spent there, so that I can know exactly what we did each day (I have the memory of a goldfish; when I tried to write things down myself, I ended up getting everything wrong, because according to my calculations, I should be leaving the Vietnamese airport now, rather than 15 May).
Anyways, here is something which made me laugh so much (to make up for my slacky behaviour):

I'm here
Back from Vietnam.
Mum's after my blood 'coz she thinks I'm getting really lazy.
Really sleepy, head hurts.
But loved every moment of it, and had a wonderful wonderful time.
I am currently finding home a very dull place to be, and looking for another escape.
The next few posts will be about the Vietnam trip (what it was like, photos, what we did, the locals, advice, bla bla bla).

Colette
There are days when solitude, for someone my age, is a heady wine that intoxicates you with freedom, others when it is a bitter tonic, and still others when it is a poison that makes you beat your head against the wall.

It is old age, rather than death, that is to be contrasted with life. Old age is life's parody, whereas death transforms life into a destiny: in a way it preserves it by giving it the absolute dimension. Death does away with time.- Simone de Beauvoir

Birdie Birdie Fly Away
Just saw a guy sitting in the library in a kilt, sending an e-mail.
And now he just started playing bagpipes outside for the Senior Celebration (it's uni tradition [playing bagpipes, not sending e-mails]).
We also found a sick budgie on the grass outside our uni, and decided to help it.
But updates later, I need to finish my Discovering Logic essay. Last thing to do before the summer.
Edit: I don't care what people say, I always have, and always will, love the sound of bagpipes. They sound so magical, and remind me of soft hills and the gentle wind blowing through them, spreading the scent of freshly moist grass all around you.
