I love this performance by Shara Worden and yMusic Ensemble. I love the way she sings, with so many expressions and nuances. Performances like these make me feel like music is still very much alive and thriving.

ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing performance. I love her voice. Such a classic sound. You're right, music isn't dead, you just have to know where to find it. Unfortunately, it's no longer on the radio, which is now clogged with the musical abortions created by Katy Perry and Rihanna.

@Beer for the Shower: Yeh, you're right, her voice is classic. It sounds so cheerful, like something out of the 50s. Hard to pinpoint it, but I haven't heard something this good in a while.
Ergh, don't even talk to me about the radio - it's full of techno hip hop clones :/
